Vijay Sikka

Vijay Sikka

Founder and CEO


Vijay Sikka is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sikka Software Corporation. He has worked in Artificial Intelligence and decision systems beginning with his Masters in Syracuse and Ph.D work at Stanford and added more than 25 years of experience with large scale projects at Intel Corporation, Sikka Software, National Institutes of Health, Glaxo Smith Kline, Roche and UCSF affiliates. In 1996, Vijay founded IBrain Software, Inc. that used to compete with Informatica and Cognos and served as its CEO until its acquisition in 1998 by Entigen Corporation, a healthcare information company that later became part of Roche. Vijay holds an M.S. degree from Syracuse University New York, pursued graduate studies in neurosciences at Stanford University, and is a Registered Continuing Education Provider in California. He is a frequent speaker at big data, AI, healthcare, technology and quality meetings. Vijay’s book on Maximizing ROI on Software Development was published by Taylor and Francis International and is available on Amazon Kindle edition.

Glenn Goelz

Interim Chief Financial Officer


Glenn is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of broad experience in fast-paced global software and technology companies, ranging from small venture-backed start-ups to publicly-held companies. He has extensive international experience setting up and overseeing financial operations in over 15 countries as well as working overseas in the UK.

At Kranz & Associates, Glenn’s clients have included several SAAS clients, including an interim CFO assignment at Sikka in 2017, Castlight Health, a SAAS company in the healthcare sector, and FirstRain, a leading customer intelligence platform. Other clients have included FireEye, a leading edge internet security company, , and Qubole, a leading big data analytics platform-as-a-service company, as well as Informatica, a leading enterprise data integration software company.

Prior to joining Kranz, Glenn served as the CFO at Cast Iron Systems, Nettaxi.com, and Simply Interactive as well as serving as Vice President of Finance for Informatica and Business Objects, both publicly traded companies. At Pictra, Glenn served as Vice President of Finance & Operations. He served as Worldwide Controller at Logitech and has held Financial Management roles at Silicon Graphics, Ungermann-Bass/Tandem Computers and Auspex Systems. Glenn started his career at Ernst & Young.

Glenn grew up in Philadelphia and is a graduate of Lehigh University. He is a Pennsylvania CPA (inactive).

Bo Purtic, PhD, MBA

Chief Revenue Officer


Dr. Bo Purtic has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector and leads Sikka Software’s sales, marketing, partner enablement and customer success teams. Prior to joining Sikka, Bo served as Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Customer Officer at CompareNetworks, Inc. and oversaw sales, marketing, operations, business development and corporate development. He previously held leadership positions at Onyx Pharmaceuticals Inc. and XOMA Ltd. Bo holds an MBA in General Management from The University of Texas at Austin, a Doctorate in Biochemistry from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Dallas,  and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology from The University of California at Berkeley.

Vice President of Human Resources


Sally Takemoto has worked as VP of Human Resources for Network General Corporation and Proxim, Inc. and held management positions at Vitalink Communications Corporation and NCR. She holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Santa Clara University. She has extensive HR and Facilities management experience for companies of 1,000 employees in over 20 countries.

Suma Kadambi

Assistant Vice President of Quality and Customer Success


Suma Kadambi has over nineteen years of software engineering experience in the Silicon Valley. She previously led quality and engineering services for SquareTrade, Arris, Omnicell, and IBM while establishing a proven track record in delivering quality products within metric driven organizations. Suma graduated from Bangalore University, with a Bachelor in Electronics Engineering and pursued Masters of science in Computer science from Cal State Hayward.

Roger Telegan

For over 10 years, Roger has worked as the Director of Information Technology and Privacy Officer at Sikka Software. Prior to this, he worked in a busy dental office in Central California and at AT&T in Data Network and Networking Security. Roger has strong domain and cloud infrastructure experience as well as a deep understanding of data security and HIPAA compliance.

Managing Director ATA Ventures


Mr. Hatch Graham, III is a founding Managing Director of ATA Ventures. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Jolata and Siaras, serves on the Board of Directors at Jobvite and Sikka Software, and leads ATA’s investments in Theranos and Altierre. Past companies have ranged from semiconductor companies in the early years of ATA, including SpansLogic (acquired by Cisco), TeleCIS (acquired by QualComm), RipCode (acquired by RGB Networks), Synfora (acquired by Synopsis) and TelASIC (acquired by MTI), to the current focus of Internet and mobile based information platforms, including FastScale (acquired by EMC), MedaGate (acquired by InComm), YottaMark (acquired by Trimble), and Milyoni (acquired by PhotoBucket).

Prior to forming ATA Ventures in 2003, Mr. Graham co-founded and guided several innovative start-ups through liquidity, often presiding as CEO or Chairman. As a technologist in the 1980’s and 1990’s, he was an award winning semiconductor designer with over two dozen telecom IC’s to his credit – Mr. Graham was awarded key patents in direct digital synthesis, programmable logic device, digital filtering, forward error correction, spread spectrum wireless, cable TV, and cellular telephone applications. For his invention in digital modulation for cable TV, he was granted the coveted “reverse path” patent which enabled cost effective broadband CATV architectures, a primary enabler for the Cable Modem industry. Hatch was also granted an error-correction patent that contributed to the introduction of Direct Broadcast Satellite television. A recipient of Idaho State University’s Professional Achievement Award, Mr. Graham received a B.S. in Engineering degree from Idaho State University in 1982.

Mark Fernandes is a Managing Director at Sierra Ventures, a leading early stage Silicon Valley venture capital firm. He joined Sierra in 2002 and focuses primarily on the software sector. Some of his prior investments include Sourcefire (IPO; M&A – Cisco $2.7B), Ooyala (M&A – Telstra) Frontbridge and Opalis (M&A – Microsoft) and DynamicOps (M&A – VMware).

Mark began his career as part of the founding team of a display company, followed by product roles at Seagate and Cisco. After his MBA, he was a research analyst covering the software sector at Robertson Stephens and Merrill Lynch. Mark holds a BS from Mangalore University (India), a MS from UC Berkeley, and a MBA from Harvard University.

Steven Yecies is a Venture Partner with OrbiMed and currently sits on the boards of TigerText and Practice Fusion. Mr. Yecies brings over 20 years of experience as an investor, consultant, entrepreneur and senior manager in the healthcare information technology and healthcare services sectors. Prior to joining OrbiMed, he founded and ran Chronic Health Capital and served on the Boards of Dicom Grid, Hi Touch Health, San Mateo County Health Foundation and served as an advisor to several integrated health systems. Mr. Yecies founded and operated the global health and wellness business at Scient (Nasdaq: SCNT) where he built several first generation e-health businesses. Mr. Yecies holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a J.D. from U.C. Berkeley Law School and received his A.B. in Government from Dartmouth College.

Dr. Vishal Sikka served as the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Infosys. Featured among the top 50 CEOs in Glassdoor’s annual employees, Choice Awards for highest rated CEOs in 2015. Dr. Sikka was a member of the Executive Board of SAP AG, leading all products and technologies, and driving innovation globally. In his 12 years at SAP, Dr. Sikka was instrumental in defining the company’s technology and product strategy and architecture. He is credited with creating the breakthrough in-memory data platform, SAP HANA. He accelerated SAP’s development processes, bringing about a deep focus on design and user experience, transforming the company’s innovation culture, expanding engagement with startups and venture investing, and leading product incubation and co-creation with customers. He is also the creator of the concept of ‘timeless software’, which articulates the principles for the renewal of products without disruption to customer environments. He is especially known for his championship of technology as an amplifier of human potential, and his passion for applying software in purposeful ways to address some of the biggest global challenges.

Malcolm Dunne has 20 years of senior financial and operational leadership in both public and private companies. Since 2005 he has operated as interim CFO for SCI PLC listed on the London Stock exchange in addition to Trion worlds, Clickatell, Linden Labs and Rockyou which are all venture backed private companies. He has led $200m+ in private financings and $85+m in debt deals. Malcolm is a KPMG trained Chartered Accountant.
